Senator Thomas Ada, one of our favorites

I just wanted to keep everyone informed. I will write my personal comments on this matter later today.

Got to go to a meeting.

UPDATE...
Well today is April 4th and I was going to write a detailed analysis about what transpired to include the behind the scenes shuffling of the Senators on this matter, but what does it really matter anyway. The Senators didn't really care what we had to say. Chief Salas' last day is today. All I can really say is that there are many more persons that I learned you cannot trust. What a shame. Do we deserve what we get???? I don't think so. Just remember your favorite Senators come election time. Don't forget.

Until next time....

Blog Hacked

Hey, just to let everyone know, my blog was hacked today, 3/31/2011.

I can't really say to what extent. I don't know if some of the content of the posts themselves have been changed, but the online poll "Are you in favor of a Volunteer Firefighter program at this time??" definitely was. Someone changed the results. As on 9pm, only one vote was reflected in the total votes, yet this morning at 8am, there were 4 total votes.

I had to change my security features around a bit. But hackers know how to get around these items.

Well, I guess these things happen.

Until next time....

Properly Fitting PPEs (personal protection gear)

Firefighters have to wear what we refer to as PPEs (personal protective gear) when we fight fires and while responding to other emergencies such as hazardous materials, medical emergencies and a whole host of other alarms.

PPE fit must be proper in order to provide the advertised protection. But that fit doesn't always work out. Here are some photos of PPEs that do not fit properly...

What can I say.

Until next time....

Volunteer Firefighter Program for Guam. Good, Bad?? I need your comments.

There has been much hoopla about the volunteer firefighter program that has been a law on Guam since 2004. I want to know how you feel. I plan on volunteering to spearhead this program and I need your help.

Please leave your comments, recommendations, thoughts, etc. on this matter below. Just click on the comment button below and leave your comments. You can leave your comments anonymous if you wish. I just need the input.

I will report this out on a future post.

Thank you.
